Monrovia, Liberia – In the wake of recent controversies surrounding political figures in Liberia, Unity Party Chairman Luther Tarpeh, Senator Prince Moye, and Senator Darius Dillon are facing significant backlash over their alleged quest to secure employment opportunities for partisans at the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL).
Rev. Luther Tarpeh has reportedly presented a list of thirteen (13) party members to the governor of the Central Bank of Liberia for hiring and promotion preference.
The list contains names such; Emmanuel P. Colduo, Shirley, Barclay Shoujaa, Wynston Jallah, Serina K. Kopah, Phebe Smallwood, Merey C. Neawon, Vivian W. Keculah, Rose M. Horace, Caroline Synadee, Ma-Weyetta K. Flomo, Dekontee A. Hills.

Since the news broke out, the trio has found themselves at the center of criticism and public scrutiny after reports emerged suggesting that they were actively lobbying for positions for their supporters within the country’s central bank.
This move has sparked outrage among citizens and various stakeholders who view it as an abuse of power and a blatant disregard for merit-based recruitment processes within government institutions.
The alleged actions of Tarpeh, Moye, and Dillon have raised concerns about nepotism and favoritism in the selection process for important positions at the CBL, which plays a critical role in influencing the country’s economic stability and financial policies.
Many Liberians have taken to social media platforms and public forums to express their displeasure at the trio’s actions, with some labeling it as an attempt to prioritize personal interests over the welfare of the nation.
The move has also drawn criticism from civil society organizations and opposition parties who have called for transparency and accountability in the recruitment process at the CBL.
