Prayer Worror Infront of Criminal Court C told journalists that former Presidential Chief of Protocol Finda Bundoo urged her to vote for President Joseph Boakai in the 2023 election because is her Uncle
The testimony came on Tuesday at the Temple of Justice as the Asset Recovery and Property Retrieval Task Force corruption trial continued. Dozens of women known as “prayer warriors” gathered for the second time in court.
Worror, who called Bundoo her “savior,” said: “I slept in the graveyard for six years. She took me from there and told me to vote UP. She said Joseph Boakai is her uncle and she didn’t want trouble. That’s how I voted UP.”
when contacted, Madam Bundoo chose to remain silent on the statement unveiled by one of her supporter.
The statement has raised fresh questions about whether Bundoo’s actions during the 2023 election were meant to undermine former President George Weah.
