Konia Town, Lofa- As part of his One Hundred Fifty thousand United States Dollars project implementation across Lofa, Sen. Momo T. Cyrus has broken ground for the extension of a modern market structure situated in Konia Town, the Commercial hub of Zeyeama Clan in Zorzor District.
The event described a historic occasion that embodied political dedication and community growth, gathering community members, leaders, and interested parties to celebrate the initiative.
The ceremony not only symbolized the commencement of the modern market construction but at the same time served as the official kickoff for a comprehensive development plan encompassing various initiatives totaling over US$150,000.
Phase-1 of the ambitious endeavor is set to encompass 11 pivotal projects spanning Yarpua and Kpayaquelleh in Salayea District, Konia in Zorzor District, Zawordamai in Voinjama District, Bolonguedu in Quadugboni District, Kolahun City in Kolahun District, and Kamatahun Hasala in Wanhasa District, with an initial investment of US$24,700 that’s according to the plan.
During the ceremony, Senator Cyrus, who spearheaded the project, formally established the Lofa County Project Management Council (LCPMC), Compressing of respected individuals from a range of sectors such as the media, civil society, youth and women representatives, religious and traditional councils amongst others to takes on the crucial duty of guaranteeing accountability and transparency in every aspect of project execution.

The scene was charged with hope and a sense of collective pride as spectators applauded Senator Cyrus for his extraordinarily quick election promise fulfillment. The prompt initiation of project implementation demonstrated a dedication to concrete measures and advancements, striking a deep chord with stakeholders who are desirous of significant transformation.
The groundbreaking event represented more than just the building of infrastructure as Lofa County sets off on a journey of renewal and development; it represented a shared resolve to overcome obstacles and bring in a new era of wealth and opportunity for all locals.
