Sinkor Monrovia – In a significant step toward the upcoming elections, Joseph Nyumah Boakai, the Standard bearer of the Opposition Unity Party, has introduced his official campaign team, rallying supporters behind the JNB/JKK ticket. Boakai’s announcement was accompanied by a strong message aimed at the current regime, accusing them of prioritizing their own interests over the welfare of the state.
Addressing a gathering of enthusiastic supporters, Boakai emphasized his mission to rescue Liberia and its citizens from what he described as the self-serving actions of the CDC regime. He urged citizens to perceive the current government as state looters who have neglected the country’s needs.
Grand Bassa County Senator Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence has been appointed as the National Campaign Chairperson for Boakai’s 2023 Campaign Team. Additionally, Senator Prince Moye will serve as the Campaign Manager, overseeing the strategic aspects of the campaign.
Notable appointments to the campaign team include James Biney, Chairman of the NPP, who assumes the role of National Campaign Vice Chairman. Joining him are Macdella Cooper, Abe Darius Dillon, and Senator Botoe Kannah. Boakai emphasized that this team is meticulously assembled to steer the Unity Party’s campaign endeavors and its alliances.
The campaign structure is further fortified by key figures, each with specific roles in advancing the party’s objectives. Hon. Amin Modad has been designated as Vice Chair for Planning and Research, while Madam Tonorla Varpilah will serve as Vice Chair for Technical Services. Macdella Cooper will take up the position of Vice Chair for Finance.
Mr. Mo Ali, chosen as the Campaign Spokesman, will play a vital role in communicating the party’s vision and message to the public. Other members of the team include Hon. Amarh Jallah, Hon. Sando Johnson, Hon. Cooper Krauh, and Hon. Alarick Togba, serving in advisory and member roles. Jacob Smith has been appointed as the Campaign Liaison, working to ensure effective coordination.
