Sinkor, Monrovia–The JFK chief medical officer Dr, Sia Watta Camanor has disclosed the shortage of drugs and other medical supplies at the institution as a major challenge at the country’s dependable referral hospital.
Speaking in an Exclusive interview with The People News Online Dr, Camanor noted that the situation that appears to be a tradition at the biggest government run hospital in the country has led to what she described as “missed perception and negativity” something they have been striving to change as administrators.

Despite their circumstances, the deputy CEO for health Services added that there have been significant efforts
made in changing the negative mind set of people regarding the quality of services offered at the hospital. Through strong advocacy the Hospital administration headed by Dr. Jerry Brown succeeded in increasing the hospital employment rate from previous Six hundred to about One thousands during the past six years.
She however described John Francis Kenndy as the institution which teaches its Doctors who are now working at the hospital further referencing Tubman National institution of Medical Acts. (TNIMA).
