Capitol Hill, Monrovia– Montserrado County District Ten Representative Yekeh Kolubah has been suspended for 30 legislative session days by the majority bloc of lawmakers.
The suspension comes following a report submitted by Representative James Kolleh on behalf of the House Committee on Rules, Order, and Administration. This report stemmed from a complaint filed by River Gee County Representative Johnson Williams, who accused Kolubah of exhibiting disrespectful conduct toward the House leadership.
A majority of lawmakers supported the suspension, while Representatives Matthew Joe, Emmanuel Dahn, and Sumo Mulbah opposed the decision.
Representative Yekeh has been critical on the majority bloc members onward to the executive branch since the power struggle began in the Legislature.
Rep. Kolubah, a former supporter of the Boakai’s administration also been involved into many controversy as he believes that the current leadership of the is illegitimate and as much he cannot adhere to their proceeding.
