Embattled NAFAA DG Emma Glassico Says She’s not Resigning her Post; Accuses the Executive of Orchestrating Protest at the Office of the Institution

Monrovia, Liberia- It can be recalled on Monday February 26 2024, group of angry protestors accused the Director General of the National Fisheries and Aquaculture Authority of wrongful dismissal, unlawful accommodation of wealth and unprofessional administrative conduct.

Addressing Members of the House’s Committees on Maritime, Agriculture and Fishery, Land Mines and security at the Headquarters of the National fisheries and Aquaculture Authority NAFAA in an acquaintance meeting, Madam Glassico reveal that there have been numerous attacks on her personality in recent times.

NAFAA controversial Director General stated vehemently that she is not refusing to leave the position but caution the executive to adhere to stature of tenure positions. Madam Glassico is urging employees of the institution to refrain from politically motivated protest noting that said action won’t compel her to resign her position.

For his part, Montserrado county district #9 Representatives Frank Saah Foko and Nimba County Lawmaker Dorwah Gleekia pledged their unwavering support and commit to working with the NAAFA Boss under legal circumstances.
