By Liberia’s President Amb. Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has nominated additional officials to positions in government affecting the National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL).
The nominees are:
1) Edward Wade Appleton, Jr., Chairman of the Board
2) Malcolm King, Member of the Board
3) Kpannah Esther Alan, Member of the Board
4) Kpandeh Fayiah, Member of the Board
5) Lydia Sandimane-Nimely, Member of the Board
6) Boima S. Kamara, Minister of Finance Development Planning, Statutory Member
7) Wilmot Paye, Minister of Mines & Energy, Statutory Member
These nominations, where applicable, are subject to confirmation by the Liberian Senate.
President Boakai further calls on all those nominated to continue to demonstrate diligence, commitment, integrity and professionalism.
