Liberia’s Culture Ambassador Julie Endee Tags Bushuben Keita, Pres.Boakai’s Legal Adviser as the “mastermind” Behind The Dismissal of Her Lawsuit Against Prophet Key

Monrovia, Liberia- Ambassador Endee has accused the President’s legal adviser Bushuben Keita of unlawful interference with a lawsuit filed against Nayapougma Yeazeahn alias Prophet Key.

Ambassador Endee said the act of dismissing her US five million(5M) slander and label suit is intended to impede the functions of the judiciary.

Addressing journalists on Tuesday, February 21, 2024, the Culture Ambassador threatened to go to the ECOWAS Court should the Liberian legal system fail to provide her with justice.

She also noted that her protest action at the Executive Mansion is aimed at questioning Mr. Keita on his decision to drop her case unknown to her after it had been scheduled for Friday, February 23, 2024.

Our reporter covering the judiciary said due to the lack of sufficient evidence to prosecute Prophet Key, Endee’s lawyers entered a plea of noli- prosequai of the charge of Criminal Coercion, Menacing, and Disorderly Conduct against Prophet Key.

Several women believed to be supporters of the Liberia Culture Ambassador gathered at the Monrovia City Court on the grounds of the Temple of Justice disrupting normal court activities which they later extended to the executive Mansion yard.

The women noted that the purpose of their protest activity at the Executive Mansion was to inquire from Mr. Keita about his decision, which Endee was reportedly unaware of at the time, to drop her case after it had been set for Friday, February 23, 2024.

Our reporter revealed that Ambassador Endee’s attorneys revert to a plea of noli-prosequai on the charges of criminal coercion, menacing, and disorderly conduct against Prophet Key since there was insufficient evidence to prosecute him.

Disrupting regular court proceedings, a group of ladies thought to be supporters of the Liberian Culture Ambassador gathered at the Monrovia City Court on the grounds of the Temple of Justice. The protest was later extended to the executive Mansion yard.
