By Buchanan, Grand Bass – In a heart-wrenching incident that unfolded in Buchanan, a nine-year-old girl, identified as Suprise Garpue, tragically lost her life after coming into contact with a bare electrical wire in her community. The incident occurred on a bright Monday afternoon, sending shockwaves of grief through the Tinway community.
Patience Garpue, the distraught mother of the victim, recounted the devastating incident with tears in her eyes. She described how Suprise accidentally touched a naked electrical wire hanging in their neighborhood, prompting swift action from concerned community members who rushed to the scene. Despite their efforts, it was tragically too late to save the young girl’s life. The local authorities were immediately notified of the incident.
Following the incident, a fifteen-member jury conducted a thorough investigation, ultimately confirming that Suprise’s death was the result of her contact with the exposed electrical wire. The community, in deep sorrow, voiced their concerns about the dangerous state of electrical infrastructure in the area, emphasizing the urgent need for enhanced safety measures and stricter regulations.
