Suakoko Township in Bong County Battles  flood; calls on Disaster Management for prompt response

Bong County, Liberia- Inhabitants of Suakoko township in Bong county are currently experiencing a devastating flood due to a rising water level form the famous Kpatawee waterfall, days after a heavy down pull of rain in the area.

The situation in the surrounding areas is said to be posing an imminent threat to the safety and well-being of residents as well as their properties.

As a means of seeking assistance, residents of the township are calling on stakeholders including the National Disaster management Team for urgent intervention.
