By Monrovia, Liberia- In the wake of the Preliminary results being announced by the National Elections commission the Standard Bearer of the Liberian People’s Party Cllr Tiawan Saye Gongloe has conceded defeat, said it’s due to the Talley sheet in the position of the party.
Speaking at a Major Press conference in Congo town recently the LPP standard Bearer commended supporters home, abroad and those who voted him in the October 10 Elections.
He make specific reference to Liberian in USA, Canada, Australia and South Africa for their tremendous support his party received during the entire process.
The LPP standard Berear asserted that the 2023 General and presidential Elections has ended and the results are being announced by the National Elections commission.
The landed councillor stated that the 2023 General and presidential Elections was historical because it was the first time since 1877 for the former and current ruling party were participating in the election.
He lamented that in 1877, it were the Republican party, ruling party,True Whig party and the which he said the true Whig part won the election.
The LPP standard bearer said from the results so far the Liberian people decided to vote the former ruling party and the Current rulings party, adding that the decision of the Liberian people is not the reflection of the others party not to campaign.
Cllr, Gonglo in a frustrated tune noted that his Party campaign across the fifteenth sub division of the country and explained his ten points for the betterment of the country.
The Liberian people’s party standard Berear disclosed that he Wonder why their agenda which focused on the strengthening of the rules of Laws, combating corruption, providing critical ve changing social services and decentralizing the country the economy to crate jobs and expand the revenue base.
He name free, quality and complusory Education for all Liberian children from kindergarten to 12th grade in all public schools and to heavily bubtizize private schools.
Cllr, Gonglo further that in the area of education the LPP promise to provide to provide free adults Education and free vocational training in the counties for high school dropouts and high school graduates to empower youths.
The Liberian people’s party political leader added that their agenda also promised improvement in the health system and provision of free health services to pregnant women, children under the age of Five and Liberian at the age of 65 years old and above.
Cllr, Tiawan Saye Gongloe mentioned mechanization of rice production by means of providing free rice machine to o farmers to all farmers across the country.
The Conceded presidential candidate further that the party agenda for agriculture if accepted would have being the alternative to see Liberian food sufficient.
To handle roads the Liberian people’s party promised to deplored public works sub station across the road which will be responsible to maintain the road in each county of the country.
Additional the party promised to fight drugs by paying the LDEA officers Well and by rehabilitate the victims drugs abuse giving them skills and severely punishing the importers of drugs.
Inorder to reduce the wide spread of salaries in Government the party promised to reduce the salary of the president and other top Officials of his administration and increase the salaries of teachers,Nurses and other health workers, police and others law enforcement officers as well as civil servents.
We further promised to create jobs and expand the revenue base of the country by decentralizing the Economic through corporate tax reduction for the establishment of factories away from Monrovia for every fifty miles out he said.
He further that these life changing steps among others, were explained to Liberian in 354 Communities,14 states in the United States and nearly all Liberian through radio stations and by other platforms.
The LPP Standard Berear told Journalists that the Elections will be won by either the Unity Party or the Coliation for Democracy change.
Cllr, Gongloe however used the occasion to called on all his supporters,non supporters and the Liberian people to accept the results and remain peaceful.
