Liberia: LDEA Knocks Down a Nigerian National With a Thousand Worth of Narcotic Drugs

Monrovia– Since the declaration of drugs as a national emergency in Liberia during the first state of the nation address by President Joseph Nyuma Boakai’s sr., the fight against drugs has intensified under Col. Abraham Kromah, as another notorious drug dealer, Baron, has been arrested with huge quantities of dangerous substances around the “Slipway community in central Monrovia by the Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency.

On Wednesday May 8, 2024, the LDEA led to the dismantling of a major ring in the central Monrovia belt leading to the arrest of a notorious drugs dealer and trafficker, a forty four (44) years old, Nigerian Mr. Jeff Hardy who was caught with huge quantities of drugs worth thousands in his possession. Based on intel, Mr. Jeff Hardy was apprehended during the raid through a court warrant and has since been taken to the Monrovia central prison awaiting court trial.

The Director General of the Liberia Drugs Enforcement Agency Col. Abraham Kromah has once again reiterated his caution to the young people against smoking kush and the new zombie drugs that are affecting the future generation of Liberia.

He at the same time used the occasion to call on communities, religious and civil leaders, and others to join the LDEA in fighting the deadly substances that are damaging society.
