Congo Town, Monrovia – Encourage Africa Counseling and Career Foundation has successfully completed a one day conference, promoting awareness on mental health and marital counseling.
The MHRCC -2024 Conference bearing the theme “A Collective Approach to Looking After Mental Health”, held at the Sinkor Palace in Congo Town over the weekend, brought together scores of Young people across Montserrado, enhancing their knowledge on the impact of mental health in the society.
Giving an Overview of the one day exercise, the founder and Executive Director of the EACCF Mr. Nelson Teah Toe, who asserted that the program was strategize to tackle challenges faced by women, children, men, youths and the disabled community, considering challenges faced with mental illness, poor health, harassment, discrimination inequality to opportunities including violence against women and children in the society.

Mr. Toe committed his institution towards providing counseling training through the means of supporting schools materials through constructive partnership engagement.
Meanwhile, Helena Wenneh, the head of Destined Kids Assistance Program Dekap Liberia formally launched the Encourage Africa Counseling and Career Foundation to the public, lauding the EACCF management for their innovation.

She at the same time expressed the need for expansion of the initiative, emphasizing its societal values.
For their part, Beneficiaries of the training lauded the organizers for the knowledge acquired, recommending continuation of the training especially for young folks across the country.
“the training was really impactful and we learned new things” Joelyn Gibson, a female participant from Firestone, Margibi asserted.

Encourage Africa is a nonprofit organization NGO established to promote children education, career development and phycological and mental health career services.
