Court Declares Former NCCRM Officials Wanted Over Corruption Charges

MONROVIA — The Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) has announced that two former senior officials of the National Center for the Coordination of Response Mechanism (NCCRM) have been declared wanted following the issuance of an indictment writ of arrest by the First Judicial Circuit, Criminal Court “C” for Montserrado County.

According to a media and citizen alert released by the LACC, the writ of arrest was issued on December 30, 2025, based on an indictment prepared by a duly selected, empanelled, and sworn grand jury.

The individuals named in the court order are Dr. Roland Clark, former Executive Director of the NCCRM, and Mr. Peter W. Nyenabo, former Coordinator of Response Mechanism.

Criminal Charges

The indictment charges the two former officials with multiple offenses, including:

  • Economic Sabotage, covering fraud on the internal revenue of Liberia, theft and/or illegal disbursement and expenditure of public money, and misuse of public money, property, or records;
  • Theft of Property;
  • Criminal Conspiracy; and
  • Criminal Facilitation.

The court has ordered the Sheriff of Montserrado County, or any of his lawful deputies, to arrest the accused individuals and present them before Criminal Court “C” during its November Term, A.D. 2025, to answer to the charges contained in the indictment.

LACC Appeals to the Public

In its statement, the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission urged the public and media institutions to respect due process and allow the judicial proceedings to take their course.

The Commission further encouraged anyone with information that could assist law enforcement authorities in locating the accused individuals to cooperate with the appropriate institutions, in keeping with the law.

The LACC emphasized that the declaration of the individuals as wanted is a judicial action and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the fight against corruption through lawful and transparent processes.
