The lawmaker from Montserrado County’s Electoral District #10 disclosed the details to a group of reporters in his office over the weekend, providing the J Mart voucher as evidence in front of a live camera.

He described the alleged plot by the president of Liberia against the speaker of the opposition, a well-known member of the Coalition for Democratic Change, as overt corruption and extensive bribes.

Representative Kolubah was allegedly called by Representative Richard Nagbe Koon, the defeated candidate for the speakership of the ruling Unity Party and representative of Montserrado County Electoral District #11, to get his coupon while the other members of Koon’s Bloc received theirs.

The controversial lawmaker stated that Representative Prince Toles of Montserrado County Electoral District #8 was the representative that Representative Koon sent him to, and that Representative Toles’ filing clerk had signed the coupon.

Despite his constant protestations that the nation lacks money, he questioned the President’s judgment in removing the Speaker of the 55th National Legislature, particularly at a time when Liberians are eager for progress and the elections have ended.

In the meantime, despite attempts to contact him, the alleged phone stayed off. However, at the same time, neither Representative Toles’ nor the State Department’s offices have responded to the Representative’s charges.
