Despite Their Huge Salaries, HOR Wants Duty Free for Two Vehicles Each; Cites LRA Commissioner Over Their Request

Monrovia, Liberia- The Liberia Revenue Authority’s commissioner general, Mr. DORBOR JALLAH, has been called by the House of Representatives to address the Honorable House at 10 AM today on matters pertaining to their petitions for duty-free port access.

Despite their huge Salary members of the House of Representatives are allowed to import two cars annually at no cost to the government.
The House of Representatives has also challenged the LRA to fulfill its pledge to Commissioner General Dorbor Jallah to increase domestic revenue for the nation.

If Mr. Dorbor Jallah LRA Commissioner General does not sign duty-free for two cars apiece for the Representatives, the House of Representatives has threatened to put him in jail.
