Liberia: Popular Social Media Influencer Nayabougua Yeazeahn alias Prophet Key faces US$5 Million lawsuit for Alleged Slender and Libel

Monrovia, Liberia– Liberia Culture Ambassador, Juli Endee has filed a Five Million United States Dollars lawsuit against Nayabougua Yeazeahn, a Liberian based Moroccan popularly known as Prophet Key for what she consider as damages for libel and slender.

Ambassador Endee instructed the court to find the defendant accountable for general damages of $5 million USD, with the trial jury to determine the exact amount, in a writ issued on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

In addition, the complainant asked the court to award the defendant US$250,000 in successful legal fees and US$300,000 in punitive damages.

The claimant emphasized that the defendant is purportedly a citizen of Liberia, presently residing in the Arab Kingdom of Morocco, and running a talk show on various social media platforms, including Facebook and TikTok.

She claimed that Prophet Key belittles, humiliate, and blackmails the well-earned reputations of a few well-known Liberians on his live talk program.

The lawyers representing Ambassador Endee recalled that in 2023, in the month of December, Prophet Key made posts on social media and knowingly, deliberately, and maliciously carried out an attack of libel and defamation intended to cause hurt, discredit, embarrassment, and humiliation to the Cultural Ambassador.
