Liberia: Senator Nyongblee to Get Elected as Pro-Temp on White Ballot?

Monrovia, Liberia- With less than a day to the holding of the most anticipated Pro_Temp Elections of the 55th National Legislature, 24th members of the House of Senate have Endured Grand Bassa County female Senator Nylonbee Kanga Lawrence.

Making the disclosure to Newsmen on January 13, 2024 at the Farmington Hotel in Margibi county, Bomi County Senator Edwin Melvin Snowe stated that 24 members of the Senate has officially signed a resolution, favoring the Senate Protemp bid of senator Kanga Lawrence.

Addressing Team of reporters at the climax of a two days retreat Senator Snowe said the decision to support the Bassa Senator is based on the worth of experience she brings to the Legislature.

He narrated that they have build a concussion at the two days event with witnesses for which majority members of the Senate approved the Grand Bassa County Senator.

How possible is this in the presence of many forces?

Despite the significant number of endorsement , there’s still a possibility for Senator Lawrence to face her Grand Bassa colleague Senator-Elect Gbehzohngar Milton Findley who is a former Senate Pro_Temp of the House.

If elected, Senator Senator Lawrence will serve as the second female to serve the Honorable Senate as Pro-Temp.
Law makers who attended the event include: Augustine Chea, Abraham Darius Dillon, Jonathan Boycecharles Sogbie- and Albert T. Chie who led the negotiation.
