Ambassador Julie Endee who is currently representing Liberia at the Cultural Level was born in Firestone, Margibi County unto Liberian parents. She is a native of Nimba, but holds Bong County her mother home in high regard as the county is also known as her cultural and traditional origin.
Following her uniqueness in amalgamating support for Liberian artistes in the western world as well as back home to promote peace in Liberia, Queen Endee then came to prominence in 1995 where she was opportune to display her talent as Liberia’s Culture Ambassador. a title that was conferred on her by the Government of Liberia and its people.
Her commitment later landed to Crowning and naming the Ambassador as a “TRADITIONAL QUEEN OF LIBERIA” by the Elders, Chiefs and Zoes of Liberia in 2000 for playing a key role in the peace process amongst the leaders of the Mano River Basin when the Republic of Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea where clashing with each other.
Ambassador Endee’s hard work and commitment while performing as Chairman of the Social Mobilization Committee on the Polio Immunization efforts in Liberia in the early 1998, resulted to a successful campaign in promoting the Government of Liberia fight the infectious polio virus; a step that gradually led to having Liberia free from Polio.
As a result of this enormous endeavor; Queen Endee was titled” UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador” for her magnificent handout to humanity in sub-Saharan African region.
Queen Endee is also the Chief Executive Director of Liberia Crusaders for Peace, a local NGO Operating in Liberia and involve in communication for development, Social Mobilization, advocacy, community engagement, Peace and amp; Culture promotion programs.She is the visionary founder and event planner of Liberia’s most prestigious award called the Golden Image Awards.
The Liberia Culture icon has been name by ECOWAS as ECOWAS Peace Ambassador for her work in promoting Peace and health in Sub-region and for successfully organizing the 2016–Kukartornor peace festival in Liberia, an event that brought together Stakeholders, Political Leaders, Artists, women groups, youth groups, Traditional and Religious Leaders from across the Sub-region and Liberia as a whole.She remains an asset to the Liberian music industry as well as the Cultural Sector.
Around the world today, Ambassador Juli Endee is known as one of the little distinguished pride of Liberia Base on her goodness and sacrifices she continues to provide in taking Liberia Culture to the international world.
