By Monrovia, Liberia–The unity Party Standard Berear who is the head of the Rescue Mission obtained 193,041 Votes with 50.71% while Incumbent President George Weah of the ruling CDC obtaind 187,615 Votes with 49.29%.with the Margin of 5,426 Votes in favor of UP.
The Commission have released 1,314 polling places out of 5,890 polling places across the country.
Madam Lanssan at the same time revailed that Grand Kru county tallying process is on going due to the late start of the tallying process.
With these results being released by the National Elections Commission both parties are claiming early victory over each other’s as NEC is the only body have the authority to announced winner.
Meanwhile the chairperson of the National Elections Commission Madam Davidettah Brown Lanssan has assured Liberian of credible election.
She mantain that every votes which was cast by Liberian will be count.
