By Monrovia Liberia– On Monday August 28, the former Vice President of Liberia and now standard Bearer of the Unity Party Amb. Joseph Boakai left for Ghana.
The traveling of the UP Political leader have Spark up many concerns most especially the opposition community believing that Amb. Boakai has gone to seek medical attention.
However Unity Party has distance itself from Romans that their Standard Bearer has travel to seek medical attention.
despite the controversy over the UP flag Bearer urgent journey to the Sub-region, the Party has clarified to the public that their leader left the country due to an executive engagement.
Making the clarity on Monday, the Unity Party National chairman Luther Tarpeh disclosed that the UP Political Leader has never gone to Ghana for any Medical treatment as it is been widely speculated my major opponents. He described the statements as lies and lacks substantial presence.”These statements represent fake politics and can never in any other way help the ruling establishment to overcome the UP. Luther lamented.
Tarpeh at the same time mention that the UP Political Leader urgent departure came as a result of an invitation extended to him from stakeholder within the African region aim at discussing development and improvement of Lives in Liberia.
He disclosed that the former Vice president left early Monday morning and is expected to return to Liberia after three days of consultative engagement with Leaders of the sub-region. “The people in the Sub-region wants to talk with Amb. Boakai so he has gone to honor their invitation” the party chairman unveil.
The UP National Chairman also named the Economic advisor to the UP Political Leader as well as Political advisor and a team of office staff as delegates who travel to Ghana along with the Unity Party standard Bearer.
Other stakeholders of the party are on ground inorder to continue the campaign as means of spreading the rescue message to all Liberians.” he noted.
