Liberia: After Complain Of Been Sideline, Sen. Prince Y. Johnson Reaffirms Support to Boakai-Koung Government

Monrovia, Liberia- After criticizing the New administration for nearly a month, Nimba County Senator Prince Y. Johnson, has announced reaffirmation of support to the Boakai-Koung Government.

Senator Johnson in his Christ Chapel of Faith Church has been blasting President Boakai for marginalizing nimba amid the ongoing appointments.

In a surprising moment Sen. Johnson on Sunday Feb 18, 2024 posted on his official Facebook page, calling on Sons and Daughters of Nimba to support the JNB-JKK administration.
According to him, he had an indoor dialogue with the Liberian Leader for which he was told that Nimba is hardly consider in terms of jobs and infrastructure development. National development Peace and security, job creation, including youth and women’s empowerment programs are amongst other issues according to him discussed in their meeting.

while calling for their support the Nimba long serving lawmaker assured citizens of Nimba a welcoming news from President Boakai which he did not specified.

It can be recalled that senator Johnson who supported former president Weah government broke away at the end of his tenure, describing the former Leader as a promise breaker, and just in the blink of an eye he was seen with the Unity Party Alliance where he claims to champion a victory for the Boakai-Koung ticket. Since the inauguration address from president Boakai, that stated the establishment of War and economic crimes court in Liberia, The senator has been vocal against the new regime.
