Monrovia, Liberia- Fifteen members of the Liberia National Police have been sent to the professional Standard Division after it was alleged that they let Queen Johnson of the Unity Party escape from their custody.
Moses Carter, spokesman for the LNP, claims that Ms. Johnson was detained at a nearby entertainment venue where she went to pass the time after receiving a tip.
Carter continued by saying that following Ms. Johnson’s detention, a senior LNP officer suggested he drive her to the LNP Headquarters in his private car because of the tension, but that ever since they left, Ms. Johnson has vanished from sight.
