Monrovia, Liberia – Just few weeks to the end of his tenure, Liberia’s George M. Weah has appointed Counselor Frank Musa Dean Jr. on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, to succeed Associate Justice Nagbe, subject to ratification by the Liberian Senate.

His decision to appoint the Justice Minister on the Supreme Court bench comes after he received a communication from Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Liberia Joseph N. Nagbe for an early retirement due to ill-health, a request he later granted.
