By Totota Bong County–The Chief Medical Officer of Liberia Dr. Francis Ketteh has disclosed that the number of death from Tuesday December 26, 2023 Tanker Explosion in Totota Bong County may possibly exceed 40.
Three of the eighty-three patients that were taken to the Phebe Referral Hospital last night are verified to be deceased, according to Dr. Kateh.
He warned that once the current door-to-door contact tracking is finished, the overall death toll could climb.
Some of the victims who suffered severe injuries have been moved to several facilities in Monrovia, including 14-Military Hospital, ELWA Hospital Catholic Hospital, as well as JFK Hospital.
