Liberia: Parliamentarians Take Kehkehs to Capitol Building; Protest Over Lack of Provision of Official Vehicles

Capitol Hill, Monrovia – Several Liberian Parliamentarians, including Rep. Yekeh Kolubah, Jacob Debee, Sumo K. Mulbah, and Zinnah Norman, were early Tuesday July 2, 2024, seen with Kehkehs in the confine of the Capitol Building as a protest against the government’s non-provision of official cars.

The legislators want to draw attention to what they saw as the Joseph Boakai administration’s failure to carry out its legal duty of providing cars for members of the House of Representatives, a privilege they maintain is legally theirs.
