Paynesville, Liberia – A wave of grief and outrage swept across AB Tolbert Road today as family, friends, and supporters of the late Abraham K. Dunn gathered to demand justice for the 24-year-old whose tragic death has left an indelible mark on the community.
Dunn, a graduate of Starz University and a promising figure in Liberia’s Information Technology sector, was discovered lifeless on Sunday, December 15, 2024. The circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, but allegations of a confrontation involving Angel Quoih, the daughter of a lawmaker, have sparked public outcry.
“We are here to call on the Liberia National Police to expedite a transparent and thorough investigation,” said a spokesperson for the group, emphasizing that Abraham’s death is not just a personal loss but a national tragedy. “Justice delayed is justice denied.”
Abigail B.L. Freeman who read the Statement on behalf of the group asserted that the incident escalated after Angel Quoih, daughter of Sinoe County District One Representatives Thomas Romeo Quoih allegedly called security personnel from AB Kormah’s Security Service to detain Dunn and his companions following an altercation. Quoih was later taken into police custody but reportedly received intervention from her father, Representative Thomas Romeo Quoih, raising concerns of political interference in the investigation.
The protesters described Dunn as a beacon of hope for Liberia’s youth, with aspirations of pursuing further studies at the University of Liberia’s Graduate School. His sudden and violent death has ignited broader conversations about justice, equality, and accountability in the country.

“This case is not just about Abraham,” the statement continued. “It speaks to the very core of Liberia’s constitution and the protection of human rights for all citizens.”
The group called on the government and Liberia’s justice system to honor its commitments under the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and to ensure that no individual, regardless of status, is above the law.
To Abraham’s grieving family, the group extended heartfelt condolences, while reminding authorities of the urgency of their actions. “Justice for Abraham is justice for us all,” they declared.
As Liberia watches closely, the public remains hopeful that justice will prevail, sending a strong message that every life matters in the quest for a fair and equitable society.
