Government Lied about US-African Business Summit number of Delegation?

MONROVIA–On May 3, 2024 Executive Mansion-Liberia released that the U.S–Africa Business Submit Liberia delegates were only nine along with the president.

The delegates early named include:

  1. Honorable Sara Beysolow Nyanti, Minister of Foreign Affairs
  2. Honorable Amin Modad, Minister of Commerce & Industry
  3. Honorable Alexander Nuetah, Minister of Agriculture
  4. Honorable Wilmot Paye, Minister of Mines and Energy
  5. Honorable Jerolimek Piah, Minister of Information, Cultural Affairs and Tourism
  6. Honorable Jeff Blibo, National Investment Commission Chairman
  7. Honorable Richardson Ndorbor, Liberia Telecommunications Corporation Managing Director
  8. Honorable Antionette Wolo, Acting Chief of Protocol
  9. Honorable Sahr Johnny, Sr. Economic Advisor

However, Presidential Press Secretary Kula V. Fofana name was not indicated in the release but she’s also on the trip along with the delegates making the number ten instead of the initial number.

The ministry of information speaking to this controversy said the presidential Press Secretary departed the country day ahead of the official departure therefore she was not captured in the count.

If so, who sponsored her trip?
Madam Fofana is currently providing national duty in the US from her own pocket?

The Controversy from the angle of the government is said to be authenticating allegations that “President Boakai Departed the country with over 25 delegates to attend the 2024 U.S–African Business Summit.”
