EFFL Urges Urgent Action as Rising Road Accidents Claim Lives in Liberia

Monrovia, Liberia- The Economic Freedom Fighters of Liberia (EFFL) has raised concerns over the escalating number of road accidents leading to the loss of lives among citizens in the country. In an official statement released on Thursday, the EFFL expressed deep unease about the alarming trend, emphasizing the unfortunate and tragic consequences for many individuals who have lost their lives due to these accidents. The party called upon the Government of Liberia to prioritize investments in road construction and implement programs aimed at alleviating this critical issue.

Furthermore, the EFFL highlighted the urgent need for the national government to establish comprehensive measures aimed at reducing the frequency of road accidents across the country. The party’s statement underscores the gravity of the situation and the imperative for immediate action to enhance road safety in Liberia.

The release also conveyed the EFFL’s profound sorrow over a recent motor accident that resulted in the tragic loss of three members of the Girls for Weah Auxiliary, who were part of the CDC National Campaign Team. The accident occurred during a campaign trail in Gbarnga, Bong County, casting a shadow of grief and highlighting the pressing need for improved road safety measures.
