Pres. Boakai Bows to Supreme Court rulings against unlawful Nominations to Tenure Positions

Executive Mansion–Regarding recent nominations at several government institutions, President Joseph Boakai has accepted to complied with the decisions rendered by the honorable Supreme Court of Liberia.

The liberian leader underlined his commitment to preserving the rule of law and stated that he will, thus, respect the High Court’s decisions, according to a release from his executive residence released on Thursday.

President Boakai thinks that creating a dynamic democracy and bolstering institutions require stern respect to the law.

He points out that the government’s ARREST AGENDA, which prioritizes agriculture, roads, the rule of law, education, sanitation, and tourism, is based on this idea.

The President reportedly made note of the fact that the Supreme Court’s decisions also established a high standard for administrative measures and the processes that lead up to them.
