Kinjor, Cape Mount–In the operating area of Bea Mountain, Grand Cape Mount County, on Thursday, there was a violent incident; one individual has been verified dead.
In a continuing Plenary session, the Senate Committee on Security revealed the information.
Senator Momo Cyrus, the committee’s chairman, claims that a number of people, including police officers, have also been wounded in the events that are occurring in the county.
In the meanwhile, the Senate Plenary has moved to promptly invite Police Inspector General Gregory Coleman and Minister of Justice Oswald Tweh for a thorough security briefing today. Following this, the Senate will act immediately.
