Boys Town, Margibi County–Scores of Citizens of Boys Town in Margibi County, where seen assembled before the head quarter of the Liberian National Police (CENTRAL) in Monrovia, Demonstrating for the Re-arrest of Suspected individuals who where early link to the gruesome murder of a man in his late 40s identified as Fredrick Toejeah.
According to the some of the protesters, the decrease Fredrick who was a member of a community watch forum group popularly known as “KAPAO”, was murdered at Boys Town Junction by a group of disadvantage Youths (Zogos) for undisclosed reason.
Wearing black and weeping in tears before the central police station in Monrovia, was the wife of the deceased calling on the attention of the national government through the LNP for speedy justice in her husbands murder case.
“How can I manage with my three little children including the one schooling in Rwanda?” She cried out.
She furthered that the sixteen suspects who were initially arrested by law enforcement officers have been released on account. Something that signals injustice. Many of the demonstrators mentioned that the fear of living in Boys Town Community has grown, as suspects who were discharged are now threatening to harm they (the citizens) for alarming the situation.
“We say the police is our friend, is this how they will continue to behave to us? We need justice”. They expressed.
Meanwhile, this paper continues to investigate allegations surrounding the release of the sixteen suspects linked to the case and on what account.
It can be recalled that on February 3, 2024, citizens of Boys Town in Margibi County woke up to the sudden death news of Fredrick Toejeah, the secretary of the ‘KAPAO secure group Boys Town Chapter’ who was discovered lying in the pool of blood.
According to relatives, the alleged Murder of their love one was a calculated plan perpetrated by group of Disadvantage Youths Zogos as a of the decease’s stance against their drugs habits.
