Monrovia – The Liberia National Police in collaboration with the Liberia Revenue Authority has announced the launch of a new online system for police clearance services which will take effect on May 1 2026 The new system will allow Liberians ECOWAS citizens and non-ECOWAS citizens to apply for various police clearance services online with updated service fees
Under the new arrangement Job Clearance for Liberians will cost US$10 for regular processing and US$20 for express services ECOWAS citizens will pay US$50 for regular and US$100 for express Non-ECOWAS citizens will pay US$150 for regular and US$300 for express Travel Clearance for Liberians will cost US$20 regular and US$40 express ECOWAS citizens US$50 regular and US$100 express and Non-ECOWAS citizens US$100 regular and US$200 express Name Check services will be US$10 regular and US$20 express for Liberians US$50 regular and US$100 express for ECOWAS citizens and US$100 regular and US$200 express for Non-ECOWAS citizens Missing Passport services will be US$10 regular and US$20 express for Liberians US$40 regular and US$80 express for ECOWAS citizens and US$100 regular and US$200 express for Non-ECOWAS citizens
All services will be accessible on the Liberia National Police website at [www.lnp.gov.lr](http://www.lnp.gov.lr) through the Police Clearance section Payments can be made in US dollars or the Liberian dollars equivalent
