Monrovia, Liberia- As Liberians prepare to witness another peaceful government transition, Nimba County Senator Prince Johnson wants a Commission of Inquiry aimed at auditing the outgoing administration over corruption allegations and what he Calls misterious disappears of citizens during the last five years.
The Nimba County Senator said the audit of the Weah, Taylor’s administration is not wish hunt but is to ensure that they account for the deaths of peaceful citizens.
The former warlord asserted that President Elect Joseph Nyuma Boakai audits the outgoing government and Prosecute those who will be found guilty of embezzling state resources.
Speaking to a team of Journalist upon his arrival from Nimba County, Senator Jonhson expressed explicit confident that Amb, Boakai will demonstrate the trust and confidence imposed in him by the Liberian People.
He noted that “there is no way the people of Nimba County could re_elect the incumbent President when he sent Arm robbers at his church to kill him”. he alleged.
Meanwhile, senator Johnson has accused President Weah and the out going Finance Minister Samuel Tweah of stealing Nine Million United States Dollars given by Arcelor Mittal Liberia for development purposes.
Sen Johnson concluded what an appreciation to Liberians for electing the former Vice President Boakai and Senator Jeremiah Kpan Koung in the November 14, Presidential Runoffs Election.
