Nimba County, Liberia – Patrolman Elton Bahn has died from injuries sustained in a violent altercation with fellow officer Jeremiah Takpor over a single chicken foot. Bahn succumbed to his injuries this morning at the John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital, where he was transferred from Karnplay City for emergency treatment.
The incident, which was captured in a disturbing viral video, unfolded when Bahn questioned Takpor’s aggressive consumption of food they were sharing. Tensions escalated when Bahn snatched the last chicken foot from Takpor’s hand, leading to a heated exchange that quickly devolved into a physical confrontation.
Eyewitnesses reported that the fight resulted in Bahn suffering severe injuries, including a broken spinal cord. In the wake of his death, Takpor has been taken into custody and is currently facing an investigation by the Liberia National Police.
