Mother of Seven Month Old Child Decry for Help to Save Her illing Daughter’s Life

Monrovia, Liberia- Mariama Massaley, a single mother is pleading for urgent assistance in saving the life of her infant. Miss Massaley is calling on government and humanitarian organizations to provide urgent medical assistance for her seven-month-old baby who is currently battling a heart condition and has been told by medical doctors at the John F. Kennedy hospital to fly her daughter outside Liberia for advanced medical treatment with in six month period.

With tears rolling down her cheeks, Massaley’s desperate appearance highlights the dire need for immediate intervention to save her child’s life. The infant was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect, a life-threatening condition that requires specialized treatment and surgery that cannot be treated by any medical facility in Liberia.Massaley’s plead is driven by her unyielding love for her child and a desire to see her child grown up healthy.

“I am a mother who is willing to do anything for my child, I am reaching out to the government and all humanitarian organizations to please help me save my baby’s life. Every Child deserves a chance to live.” she pleaded.

The government and humanitarian organizations are encouraged to prioritize the case and intervene smoothly. The medical experts stressed the importance of immediate intervention, as delays in treatment could exacerbate the baby’s condition and have irreversible consequences.
