Lofa — Tears swept through Lofa Media Sunday evening as the Gondorlahun Health Center in Hembeh confirmed the death of Joseph Kortu Nyandibo, owner and publisher of the Lofa Eye Newspaper.
Nyandibo, 58, was pronounced dead less than 24 hours after falling ill while in his hometown to bury a relative.
He also served as Public Relations Officer at the Ministry of Labour. Colleagues remember him for his bold voice and immense contributions to Liberian journalism.
The Gbandi land and Liberia’s media community now mourn the loss of a publisher who gave Lofa a paper and a voice.
