By Capitol Hill, Monrovia–Senate Plenary in a special sitting has voted to confirm the following Presidential nominees namely:
Sara Beyslow Nyanti – Minister of Foreign Affairs
Cole Bangalu – Minister of Youth and Sports
Roland Lafayette Giddings- Minister of Public Works
Gbeme Horace Kollie – Minister of Gender
Louise Kpoto – Minister of Health
Rretired Army Chief of Staff Prince C. Johnson III –Minister of National Defense
Retired Deputy Chief of Staff Geraldine George, as Deputy Minister for Operations, Ministry of Defense
Col. Davidson T. Forleh, – as Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Liberia and
Col. Theophilus Dana, – as Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of Liberia
This brings to the total number of twenty appointees who have been confirmed to serve in the Boakai’s administration.
