By Monrovia, Liberia- The inaugural Committee of Liberia 26th president headed by madam Miatta Fahnbulleh continue to face serious public criticism for what is considered as poor preparations, following the disruption of the inauguration event due to immense heat exhaustion.at the Capitol
Expressing there opinion on the January 22, 2024 heat saga situation, many Liberian believe that the “embarrassing situation” was created by the organizing committee who didn’t put mechanisms into place especially taking into account the atmosphere of the weather. Despite the argument about his old age, some of whom preferred not to be named expressed that president Boakai could complete his speech. They added that the organizing committee could have done better preparations then they did.
It can be recalled that on January 22, 2024 the president of Liberia after speaking for nearly an hour, the 79 year old President had to abandon his inaugural speech due to immense heat that existed on the grounds of the Capitol Building. The Circumstances however reportedly caused the death of one diaspora Liberia who came to witness the inauguration ceremony.
