Monrovia, Liberia–The Controversial Appearance Of Bong Senator Prince Moye name on LPRC Newly established Board has Spark Mixed Reaction, with some pondering why she was not publicly nominated by President Boakai instead it was secretly done under corver.
Despite not being identified by President Joseph Boakai two days ago, Mrs. Nancy Moye went through her certification on Friday following an on-boarding course.
Given the senator’s preference for lucrative positions in the Boakai administration above those of his close associates, Madam Moye’s selection has stirred heated discussion both in Montserrado and Bong Counties respectively.
“Why didn’t you include her name in the appointment announcement, which I’ve uploaded here? Was it deliberate or an oversight?
Is it that you didn’t want the public to know that a powerful senator in the UP-led government wife was being appointed, or what?
To remove all of these dark clouds and conjectures, kindly report to the Liberian people all those nominated/appointed by the President. Don’t leave some out, even if you perceive them as being controversial.” a Journalist Julius Jeh wrote.
As it stands, Many citizens who are Supporters of the Unity Party in Bong County are yet to receive appointment including Selena Polson Mappy, who’s also the Women’s Wing Chair , despite their contribution in the just ended Elections.
