By Monrovia, Liberia–The Speaker of the 55th Legislature J. Fonati Koffa has endorse President Joseph N. Boakai’s Executive Order 126 Which calls for the establishment of Assets Recovery.
The Head of the Lower House In a Facebook post asserted that the House of Parliament must move quickly to establish the Corruption Court to hold past and present individuals responsible especially those who robbed the country and it’s citizens of their resources.
He further that the concomitant with the House’s passage of the War and Economic Crimes Resolution of March 5, the end of impunity in Liberia is near.
His Comments comes early Wednesday morning, following the president Boakai’s pronouncement on March 5, 2024, regarding the recovery of states assets that were Unlawfully taken away by past government officials.
