Monrovia– 23-year-old Ernest Phillips, who was the eyewitness in the Jessica Lloyd and Lucas Richard attempted murder case, has alarmed of been attacked frequently by unknown men since Criminal Court ‘B’ “Not Guilty” verdict.
Mr. Enerst Phillips narrated that it’s disgusting that some individuals are accusing him of not appearing in court to provide evidence in the attempted murder trial of Mr. Lucas Richard, which he was set free. He said he was consistently in court throughout the trial of the American missionary.
Speaking in an exclusive interview via telephone with the People News reporter late Thursday, May 16, 2024, the 23-year-old student of the Logan Town Central High School reviled that the first attack was carried out by three unknown men around the Vai Town community on Saturday, May 11, 2024, with deadly weapons by 9:00am while leaving central Monrovia on a motorcycle.
Ernest further narrated that he encountered the latest attack on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, around the Logan Town Bushord Island.
Due to the numerous attacks on his life since the Judge ruling has compelled Ernest Philip to drop out of school.
According to the twenty-three, the government hasn’t be able to provide him security despite his critical role in Jessica and Lucas Situation.
Mr. Phillips expressing his disenchantment stated that his photo has often been attached to Lucas picture on the social media.
He further maintained that at no point, he received money from the American Missionary as it’s been speculated.
Ernest who has relocated to unknown destination, want the Liberian National Police to intervene into the growing wave of threat against his person.
