Among many believes to be world class Striker, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has been named 2022/23 UEFA Men’s Player of the Year.
The Young Norwegian scored 52 goals in 53 games across all competitions as Manchester City became on the second English club to win the treble of Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League.
Winning his first ever Champions league title With 12 goals in the Champions League and 36 in the Premier League, the 23-year-old ended the season as top scorer in both competitions. His 36 goals in the Premier League is a new record in the competition.
Haaland beat off competition from Argentine World Cup winner Lionel Messi and Manchester City teammate, Kevin De Bruyne.
He was presented the award during the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League group stage draw in Monaco.
