Monrovia, Liberia – As Liberia anticipates its upcoming Presidential and Legislative elections on October 10, 2023, Mrs. Sara Beysolow Nyanti, the standard-bearer of the African Liberation League (ALL), is garnering attention with her promise to bring substantial development and unity to the nation if elected as President. A dedicated preacher, teacher of the Gospel, and a revered figure within the Baptist Church, Mrs. Nyanti, with a wealth of experience both within and outside Liberia, believes her profound leadership insights will elevate the country.
Known as the “Nation’s Builder” by her supporters, Mrs. Nyanti, who previously served the United Nations as the Assistant Secretary-General and various international organizations, boasts a track record of engaging with Liberians. She has been involved in establishing critical initiatives like the National AIDS Control Program, community engagement programs, and the provision of learning resources for girls, among other projects. She emphasizes her vision of transforming Liberia into a nation rather than just a country, focusing on sustainable development and unity.
Mrs. Nyanti’s priorities, should she become Liberia’s second female president, include the reduction of poverty, the creation of job opportunities for youth and women, and the establishment of a “fast track Corruption Court” within the first hundred days of her government. Moreover, she places a strong emphasis on national unity, particularly in light of recent political clashes, stressing that unity must precede meaningful development in the nation. As Liberia’s October elections draw near, Mrs. Nyanti’s campaign is gaining momentum as she outlines her vision for a brighter future.
