Alumni President Frank Foko restores hope at Apostolic High school amid fire disaster

Monrovia, Liberia–The President of the Alumni Association of the Apostolic High school and Montserrado county Electoral District Number Nine (9) Representative Frank Saah Foko has presented one Hundred thousand Liberian Dollars to the institution in the wake of a major fire incident that destroyed the school’s facility.

The Montserrado County Lawmaker who is a 2009 Graduate of the Apostolic High school located on Airfield Sinkor said the presentation of the amount to the school is his own way of contributing toward the renovation of the school after it gutted by fire.

It can be recalled on Early Monday afternoon February 4 2024, the Apostolic High school gutted by fire as a result of electric shock which led to the entire building burning to ashes. The situation stalled normal learning activities.

At a fund raising rally held on the campus of the institution recently, Rep. Foko stated that his presentation is in consonance with his position as Alumni President and not as a Representative of the district.

The CDC Stewart however expressed regret over the fire incident but expressed his willingness in making sure the institution be renovated to enable students resume regular academic activities at the soonest.

He furthered that his presentation of the one hundred thousand Liberian dollars is a way of prioritizing the education of the upcoming generation.As a struggling kid growing up, Rep. Foko recounted the difficulties encountered in paying his fees.

Meanwhile, Representatives Foko at the same time used the occasion to launch an SOS, calling on other well meaning Liberians to aid the administration in restoring normality.
