Monrovia, Liberia- A group under the banner “Concerned Youth of Kpayah district in Bong County” has petitioned the House of Representatives to dismiss Bong County District three Rep. Josiah Malvin Cole as chair on Rules Orders and Administration, as well as to stop his oversight in the House Payroll Audit. The Group Cited Rep. Cole alleged involvement in the misappropriation of Gbondoi Clinic Construction Project funds as their reliance.
Mr. Samuel Babajuah who read the Petition Statement on behalf of the group stated that Rep Cole is at the same time engulfed with criminal charges after been linked to attacking health workers in his constituent.
Mr Babajuah furthered that Representatives Malvin Cole with no remorse in a news conference admitted to financial misconduct, including diverting funds from the Kpayah and Gbondoi clinics for personal aggrandizement.
The Petitioners lamented that Rep. Cole as a renowned lawbreaker has no integrity to Serve integrity post in the honorable house of Bong District three representative. They called on the representative to recuse himself as a member of the House Audit team, alleging that, he has over fifty ghost names which represents conflict of interest that may manipulate the process.
Hence, receiving, the petition was the chair on Claims and petition at the House of Representatives Montserrado county district number 14 Representatives Muka Kamara who promised to deliver the communication to plenary for further investigation
