Monrovia, Liberia — Vice President Jeremiah Kpan Koung officially inaugurated the National Civil Service Testing Center today at the E.J.S Ministerial Complex, marking a pivotal advancement in Liberia’s public service recruitment process.
During the launch, Vice President Koung emphasized the center’s role in cultivating a skilled and dedicated civil service. He highlighted the facility’s modern, computer-based technology, designed to promote merit-based hiring. “This facility represents a transformation in how we select those who will serve Liberia,” he stated.
The Vice President commended the Civil Service Agency (CSA) for its leadership in establishing a system focused on integrity and efficiency. The new center aims to streamline the hiring process by replacing outdated paper-based methods, thereby enhancing the credibility of recruitment efforts.
Koung urged all stakeholders to embrace the values of fairness and excellence as Liberia strives for a more accountable government. He concluded the event by officially declaring the center open, encouraging its full utilization to improve the nation’s civil service.
