MOE and Chinese Government signed partnership worth US 2 million to Enhance Uniform Production and improve Healthcare system in the country

In an effort to strengthen international collaboration, the Ministry of Education has concluded a high-level meeting with Chinese delegation aimed at transforming Liberia’s education and healthcare sectors.

The partnership is to enhance a sustainable development, economic empowerment, and long-term prosperity of Liberia.

The collaboration is the establishment of a state-of-the-art school uniform production facility and a modern hospital, two landmark initiatives designed to improve the quality of life for Liberians.The projects will reduce financial burdens on parents, ensuring greater access to education for all children while equipping young people with essential vocational skills to drive employment and entrepreneurship.

They expressed profound appreciation for the Ministry of Education’s progressive leadership and dedication to fostering high-impact international partnerships.

Addressing the delegation on behave of the ministry,Deputy Minister for Administration,
Nyekeh Forpka, describes the initiatives as a milestone achieve. He stressz that the project comes at a crucial time, alleviating financial pressures on parents while guaranteeing that every Liberian student has access to high-quality, durable school uniforms.

This strategic collaboration with China marks a pivotal step toward enhancing education, vocational training, and world-class healthcare infrastructure in Liberia. He added.

Minister Forpka pledge the Ministry’s commitment to maintaining global standards in uniform production, prioritizing comfort, longevity, and excellence for all students.
