The Liberia Maritime Authority (LiMA) has officially terminated the services of Mr. Abdul D. Kanneh, Manager of Administrative Services, effective December 20, 2024.
The termination letter, signed by John E. Quawah, Director of Human Resources, cites the cessation of Kanneh’s services without providing specific reasons for his dismissal.
This unexpected move has sparked speculations regarding potential internal conflicts or restructuring within the Authority. While the letter advises Mr. Kanneh to settle his entitlements in line with Liberia’s labor laws, it also mandates the immediate return of all assets belonging to the organization.
